CHORE WARS !

It’s always time
to do the chores,
make the beds
and sweep the floors,
fold the clothes
and clean the sink.
Don’t you agree,
chores really stink!
Chores are boring
and really dumb.
I’m at the age
when I need fun.
I’m just a kid,
I need to play.
I can’t do chores
night and day.
My hands are wrinkled
my skin is “pruned.”
My social life,
is totally ruined.
You can’t be serious
about doing all this.
Just think of all
the fun I’ll miss.
